Sergiu Dumitrescu
He was born in 1954 (*2016) in Galati, Romania. From 1997-1981 he studied at the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest. After that he worked as a Methodist at the House of Culture of Students, was a teacher in several pre-university education units. In 1991, 1995 and 1997 he was organizer of the Metal and Sculpture Camp in Galati. He was also counselor at the County Directorate for Culture and National Heritage, director of the County Directorate for Culture, Cults and National Heritage and manager of the Cultural Center “Danube of Down ”, an institution he led until his death. ©A.D.
