Romanian landscape
Romania is home to extraordinary mountains like the Carpathian Mountains, Bucegi-Leaota-Piatra Craiului or Iezer-Păpuşa-Făgăraş, with wild lush forests, high peaks and deep caves. The Romanian mountains host a rich variety of wildlife.

They offer trails for for adventurers and families. The Iezer-Păpuşa-Făgăraş have seven peaks that exceed 2,500m, popular with ice climbers. The trails are in general well maintained but for your first visit a guide is recommended. Its a a high concentration of biodiversity that you have to visit yourself. We as its inhabitans have the responsibility to protect it for future generations.
