This is the second exhibition of Tudor Banus in Vienna. He also worked as an illustrator among others for Le Monde, The New York Times or Die Zeit. In his work he reveals a familiar, disturbing and fantastic world. In it we recognize our own feelings of pain and fascination. Banu’s very personal style is associated with modern comic strips, the works of Bosch and Surrealism. His complex works take the viewer into a dreamy, tense, playful and in any case magical world. ©Alexandra David
