Art Safari Bucharest is the first professional and public art pavilion in Romania, designed for both heritage and contemporary art. Art Safari will bring together more than 100 galleries and art dealers, museums and cultural institutions, both from Romania and abroad, that will exhibit high quality artworks, from paintings and sculptures to design and collectibles.
Anemona Crisan’s works always revolve around the relationship between body and surrounding space, by the drawings on paper or canvas or space-filling installations. Linear physical elements such as hair, muscle fibres or veins act as departure points for a sought-after, dynamic, space conquest. Whereas the artists installations are an attempt at rendering the abstract linear geometry of a body meant to blend into surrounding architecture, and thereby generate a new unity between body and build environment, her most recent canvases are full of verve, revealing the ultimate body molding.
